Andalusia includes some very different physical areas. However the personality of this region is much characterized by its housing, its old villages with streets bordered of white houses with wrought iron grids which are opening on fresh flowered patios...

Huelva is the chief place of Huelva province. It became important thanks to its port where its copper ores are exported from the back-country to its oil refineries, its canning facilities and chemical industries.

Historically, the estuary of Tinto was one of the roads of arrival and departure of the conquistadors during the 16th century and particularly of Christopher Colombus to whom a huge memorial was dedicated (1929); it rises close to the bridge over the Tinto, in Punta del Sebo.

Within the attractive aspects of Huelva, can be included the unique district Reina Victoria, with its English style, the cathedral with its Modern Times frontage, the Sanctuary of the Ribbon which hides the Virgin with the Ribbon who is the patron of the city, paintings by Zurbarán on the walls of the church of Conception and the provincial museum.
