The registrations for the international conference "Social Development and Territorial Intelligence" , which takes place 29th and 30th of October 2010 in Alba Iulia (Romania), are open until the 1st October 2010. This conference is organized by the ministry of education, research and innovation of romania, the "1 decembrie 1918" University of Alba Iulia, Faculty of Law and Social sciences, department of sociologie and social work.

The international conference "Local Governance and Territorial Intelligence Confronting Development Patterns will be held in Fisciano (Italy) on the 12th and the 13th of October 2010. This event is organized by the University of Salerno in association with ENTI in the framework of Research Group of Territorial Intelligence. The call for paper is already available.

In an article published on the collaborative-info site June 28, 2010, Jean-Jacques Girardot retraces the elements that distinguish the territorial intelligence of the economic intelligence. If they both use the information technologies, they differ in their goals of development and governance.

A workshop about the relationship between "information and communication science"(SIC) and territorial intelligence will be held at the 17th Annual Congress of the French society of information and communication sciences (SFSIC) which take place from 23 to 25 June 2010 in Dijon (France).
This workshop is led by Cyril Masselot. It's one of the Cimeos-Laseldi workshops to be held during the congress.

ENTI and IFIS - University of Paris-Est Marne La Vallée organize the Summer Days of the job-LIFE project from thursday, 22 july, 10 A.M until saturday, 24 july, in order to strentghen the links between partners and to deepen the workplan of the project.

The Atlas de la Inmigración en Asturias has been published by the Observatorio Permanente de Inmigración in the Asturias (Odina).

This descriptive study is a document of general interest that puts into context the situation of the immigrant population in the Asturian community in an multi-sectorial logical : demography, education, health, employment and administrative status. In all these dimensions Atlas has focused on analyzing the distribution of this population at the municipal level.

It was created with the assistance of the Maison des Sciences de l'Homme et de l'Environnement Claude-Nicolas Ledoux (France) under ENTI, European Network of Territorial Intelligence

The call for papers for the ninth international conference of territorial intelligence is now available online, it is possible to submit proposals for papers from June 5.

Registration for the conference begins on July 1.

After Montreal (Canada) in 1997, Paris (France) in 2001 and Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso) in 2005, the french-speaking forum of actors in environmental education will be held in Yaounde - Cameroon - from 19 to 27 July 2010. It is possible to make a submission untill May 7, 2010.

The site Collaboratif-info followed the progress of IT-GO days. An article that summarizes the presentation of activities of the ENTI network has been published on march the 25th. A second article about the relationship between territorial intelligence and participatory approach was published on 29/03.

The presentation of the results of the survey 2009 on the senior women of Franche-Comté are held on Monday, March 8th, 2010 at the CIDFF of the Doubs (Besançon, France).

This survey was led with 346 senior women in 2009 within the framework of the project "Mobilité professionnelle et qualifiante des seniors", cofinanced by the european FSE and the franche-comté region, and developed by the CIDFF, the AFPA and the Intelligence Territorial team (TheMA, Franche-comté).

It was led and interpreted by this territorial actors thanks to the catalyse toolkit.

The call FP7-SSH-2010-1 is now closed, the "Future jobs for a better life" proposal is now stored on the EPSS system for subsequent evaluation by the European Commission.

From Tuesday, 26 till Friday, January 29th, participants to the project "Future Jobs for a better LIFE" meet to Besançon ( France) for a writing seminar of the project.

After a presentation of the axes and Work-Packages by their respective research leaders, the participants write in a collaborative way the document which will be submitted to the European Commission the next week.

I wish you, on my behalf and in the name of the steering committee of ENTI and of the project job-LIFE, an excellent year of 2010 and the success of the current projects.

ENTI, " European Network of Territorial Intelligence ", is a structure opened to all those who wish to contribute to its program of research.

In the frame of territoriesnet, the federative site of the networks ENTI and territorios posibles, 3 internationals seminars of territorial intelligence held on december:

• the 15th and 16th in La Plata University, Argentina,
• the 18th and 19th in Minas, Uruguay,
• the 21th and 22th in Obera, Argentina, close to Paraguay and to brazil.

Organized from 24 to 26 March 2010 in french west-coast cities Nantes and Rennes, the IT-GO 2010 (« Great Western Territorial Intelligence Days ») deadline for summary acceptation is now delayed on January 15th 2010.

Communications in the conference will be accepted on the basis of the summary (800 words). Full papers will be published after the conference in « European Journal of Territorial Intelligence » on the basis of the workshops synthesis.
