The Town Inter-ministerial Delegation (DIV - France) published a document that allows valuating the European good practices for “Economy and employment in the urban ailing areas”.

In 2007, Patrick ITALIANO, researcher in the ULG (Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences), chose Ougrée-bas as a ground study concerning the way to favor the reconstruction of social link on a territory in reconversion. This research action, which is widely linked to Optima activity, led in December to a report for the IWEPS (Walloon Institute of Studies, Prospective and Statistic) about identity and social capital in the Walloon region.

The VIIth international conference "Tic & Territoire : quels developpements?" (Ict & Territory: which developments?) will take place in Lyon on June, the 3rd and the 4th 2008 with the thematic “Building confidence”.
